Finally, I can update. Properly with lots of time and privacy... Michael is at supplmentary classes. Haha... Did that last year. Yup, I'm not supposed to be here. I have so much to say...
Friday:
We finished watching Romeo and Juilet. We watch the Leonardo De Caprio version, who someone I know thinks is hot and who Mrs Thomsett think is cute. Haha... Mrs Thomsett said that it was disturbing that some people laughed at the sad parts. I'm a Disturbed Freak. Oh well. It gives me the creeps now. Can't sleep sometimes. The killings mostly. *shudders* Jo-ann noticed that the Nurse looks like Professor Sprout. Did a search. Yup, it's her. Miriam Margolyes. Man, she's been acting since '74.
Alexander McCall Smith came to our school. Apparently, he visited only our school and United World College. He was in the papers on Sunday. Bought ' The Number 1 Ladies Detective Agency' ; shared with Charis. He talked to us about his work, how to get your work published, Roald Dahl, J. K. Rowling... HE'S J.K. ROWLING'S NEIGHBOUR!!! That is so cool. Haha... Got his autograph. Went with Vicky T. She was nervous, like me. She was saying if Roald Dahl ever came, she would gape. But he's passed away. She didn't know that. It was so confusing when I finally met him. Difficult to explain. But he shaked my hand. He signed the book and said that he hopes I enjoy the book. Nice chap. Signs of potbelly. Haha...
During V.E., we were given a talk by Mrs Thomsett. She said it was a very serious topic. Charis and I were like, "Oh no. Hope it's not about PMS (the other meaning). Turns out it was about personal hygiene and femininity. What the !?!?! Anyway, she was actually talking to our class. She came in for lesson once and complained that we stank and we said that we didn't smell anything. She was saying after the part on personal hygiene that, if you smell good, and speak horribly, it isn't good. "Swearing is bad. It's for boys..."We were all looking at Lipin. She shouts alot. Swear, also. Mrs Thomsett, I don't give a bloody damn. Haha...
Saturday:
Watched "The All-Amercian Rejects Making the Video: Dirty Little Secret. Apparently, floor they were playing on was wet. Didn't notice. They poured water on it so that it looked better.They were playing in an empty hall for the video. The band joked about some people's secrets and stuff. Reflection. They went all over Hollywood to film the 'secrets' part. They actually had people send in their secrets. I wouldn't, even if it was anonymous.
Ah!!! So busy this week.
